Angola Branch Won the Bid for Government Loan Project
Recently, the Angola Branch won the bid for Cuanza Sul Cassongue Road Renovation Project and Luanda Cabo LedoLobito Road Renovation Project of Ministry of Construction of Angola successively. The total amount was USD 66.847 million, which made the branch make a historical breakthrough in the aspect of independently undertaking the Chinese Government Loan Project as the general contractor.
The bid amount of Cuanza Sul Cassongue Road Renovation Project is USD 31.376 million. The road is 37.0 Km in length and 9m in width. The construction contents include the newly built road, concrete drainage ditch, bridge culvert and pipe culvert and so on. The bid amount of Luanda Cabo LedoLobito Road Renovation Project is USD 35.471 million. The road is 75.2 Km in length and 9m in width. The main construction contents are renovation of the bituminous pavement and bitumen laying. Above projects’ costs are from the Chinese government loans and both projects’ invitations for bid are carried out by the Government of Angola, which is specified in the Framework Agreement on China and Angola Trade and Economic Cooperation. All payments must be carried out within the territory of China.
